What is Ejikoro?

Ejikoro is Igbo for “connected” and this is your chance to feel a little warmer, more connected and enjoy good food while doing it.

If you’ve been looking for a relaxed way to meet new people in London, this is for you. We’re hosting a social dining experience, a meal on us, bringing together small groups of open, curious people who don’t know each other yet. You’ll enjoy bold Nigerian flavours, sharing plates, and a few gentle ice-breakers to help conversation flow.

And to make the experience even sweeter, the meal is our treat.

Why we created it

It’s a familiar story. You want to meet new people but don’t know where to start. London can feel lonely and rushed, but we know many people are looking for connection. It’s just finding the space to meet others in a relaxed, welcoming way.

At Chuku’s, we’ve always believed food brings people together - which is why we’re the home of the chop, chat, chill! We wanted to create a space where strangers can become friends over bold Nigerian flavours, sharing plates, and good conversation.

Each table is carefully curated to help guests connect, with people from different backgrounds and stages of life. Our hope is to show that we have more in common than we have differences and that guests leave feeling a little more connected, maybe even with a new friend or two.
